با استفاده از این نرم افزار کاربر می تواند مدل را با تمامی عناصر اساسی مانند بدنه، اهرم ها و نیروها، مفاصل و نقاط تماس طراحی کند و فایل های CAD با فرمت Parasolid ،STEP ،IGES ،ACIS و قالب CATIA را نیز وارد و ویرایش کند و به ایجاد مدل تجهیزات، تعریف عناصر تجهیزات، نمایش بصورت انیمیشن و یا علامت گذاری طرح بپردازد. همچنین کاربر می تواند شرایط مختلف را برای تست و یافتن نقص محصول ایجاد کند و سپس به بر طرف کردن این نواقص بپردازد. با استفاده از ابزار هایی که در نرم افزار تعبیه شده است هر کاربر می تواند نرم افزار را مطابق با نیاز خودش شخصی سازی کند. قابلیت تجزیه و تحلیل MFBD که ترکیبی از روش MBD با متد اجزا محدود است برای شبیه سازی مجموعه های در حال حرکت و انعطاف پذیر می باشد و کاربر می تواند تنش دینامیکی دقیق و تجزیه و تحلیل سطوح سیستم را بر اساس معیار هایی مانند رنگ آمیزی سطوح مختلف و نیروهای اینرسی متغیر با زمان مشخص کند.

The RecurDyn technology has superior calculation efficiency because it is based on a recursive formulation.
