As the title of this software suggests, ImTOO HD Video Converter is a tool that allows you to encode videos to the HD format, but also to ASF, AVI, DVD, MP4, MPEG, MOV and others.
The interface of the program is simplistic and easy to navigate through. Videos can be imported into the list via the file browser or "drag and drop" method. Batch processing is allowed.
In the queue you can view the name, duration, output profile and size, as well as status of each video. Once you set the output directory and extension, you can proceed with the encoding task.
Furthermore, you can specify the name of the output file, split videos, preview them in a built-in media player and take snapshots, as well as customize the CPU core number and create output profiles.
In addition, you can load an audio CD, view file properties, hide unidentifiable items in the list, set post-task actions (e.g. restart computer, shut down), as well as enable ImTOO HD Video Converter to run in the background in low priority mode.
On top of that, you can use a bit rate calculator, change the interface skin and language, specify the snapshot directory, prevent standby and hibernation when your laptop is running on the battery, and more.
